Our Preview Travel Exhibit debuted at the International Quilt Festival in Houston in the fall of 2024. The travel exhibit will be on the road for three years. To see a 3D version of the exhibit and where it is traveling, check our travel page.
We are pleased to announce that our Artist in Residence will be Valerie Poitier. Ms. V is a wonderful choice for the Artist in Residence at the Sacred Threads exhibition due to her remarkable ability to weave emotion, spirituality, and storytelling into her artwork. Her creations not only showcase exceptional artistic skill but also invite viewers on a deeply personal and transformative journey. Read More:
Sacred Threads has a special collaboration with The Healing Arts Program at UChicago Medicine. Check out the accepted gallery for the first exhibit: View Gallery Now more good news, 18 of the quilts will be on exhibit at the International Quilt Festival in Houston this fall! And then 35 pieces will go to the University of Michigan for exhibit Dec 2025 - February 2026.
